Background
I worked at Miles Creative, a digital marketing agency based in Dubai, as a part-time web developer while finishing my Bachelor's degree at the Lebanese University. It started as a side income, but it became a steady stream of real client work that ran alongside my studies for months.
The work
My role centered on WordPress and Elementor, building sites from a design over to a finished, editable page, filling in the gaps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript wherever the page builder couldn't get a section exactly right. Beyond new builds, I handled ongoing maintenance for a portfolio of sites: content updates, fixes, and the small changes that keep a client site running smoothly long after launch.
Working with design
I worked closely with the agency's UI/UX designer throughout, taking finished designs and translating them faithfully into working pages: matching spacing, type, and interaction details rather than approximating them, and flagging anything that needed a second look before it shipped.
